Anson is a native San Franciscan, born and raised.  He grew up attending San Francisco’s public schools, even attended Marshall Elementary in his 4th and 5th Grade years.  He was the first in his family to graduate from college and received a B.S. in Business Analysis with a minor in Asian American Studies from San Francisco State University.  His Accounting career has been primarily in the financial services sector but has also served several years as a Treasurer/Board Member for the San Francisco Enchantees, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in youth basketball.
