Today we are welcoming students back to Mission High for our 15th year of providing high quality college access support to students from underserved communities. We believe that a college education prepares students to achieve their dreams and become our next generation of leaders.
ASAP’s senior brunch and award ceremony in the spring!
This fall, we will work closely with over 100 seniors to help them explore colleges and find the right fit, write authentic personal statements, and complete their applications for college, financial aid and scholarships. Along the way, through informal mentoring, we also give students the tools they need to thrive in a college environment.

Meanwhile, the Class of 2018 is heading to colleges all over the country to begin their first year, and we are so proud of them!
ASAP’s Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP), now in its 3rd year, is in place on several campuses to provide near peer support to entering freshmen.
Congratulations to the MHS Dragonboaters who started their summer in Portland, Oregon at the Rose Festival and won a first place trophy!
As usual, we had another busy summer, with more than 150 students coming and going from sports, leadership and academic programs on college campuses all over the country. Their experiences in these programs is often life-changing, and helps students picture themselves in college in the future. Students mentioned learning from college coaches, seeing new campuses, living in dorms and meeting people from other places as highlights of camp.
On August 10, ASAP was honored by AT&T and the Giants as a Community All Star. ASAP staff and alumni attended a special event with members of the Giants staff, as well as players, and went on the field before the game to be honored.
