Erin is a long time educator in San Francisco and is a first generation Bay Area native. She started her work with youth as a teenager and has committed her career to collaborating with and supporting historically marginalized communities in San Francisco.
Erin’s passion to work with youth further developed and nurtured in her role as a paraeducator and then after school program coordinator. Spending over nine years at June Jordan School for Equity has allowed Erin to develop deep roots within the San Francisco community. She is committed to uplifting the voices of youth, and believes that collaborative relationships where students have input and build agency are essential to the success of young people.
Erin enjoys the outdoors and being active. She believes opportunities for experiential learning are an essential catalyst that can support the holistic growth and success of young people. As a member of the Mission Graduates team, she is excited to continue the work of increasing access in our communities.
