We are happy to announce that the ASAP team will be presenting at the National Partnership for Educational Access‘s 10th Annual Conference in New Orleans in April.
The 2018 theme is “Standing Together in a Changing Landscape: A Call to Action” and we have been selected to present about a topic that is vital to talk about in the work that we do.
We’ll be presenting: “We All Need to Talk About This More: Self-Care in Uncertain Times” on Thursday, from 10-11:15. Read more about our workshop and learn more about other organizations and their chosen topics here: http://www.educational-access.org/conference/2018-conference-workshops/.
Note: ASAP at Mission High School (formerly Athletics Scholars Advancement Program) merged with Mission Graduates in July 2020. This article has been transferred to Mission Graduates’ website for archival purposes and reflects the work, vision, and stories of ASAP staff and students at the time of publication.
