Sunrise Restaurant, with its home base just a few blocks from the 24th Street BART, captures the essence of the Mission. The restaurant builds community through its tasty food and works to support its local community, exemplified through its Food For Thought 2012 Partnership.
Sunrise offers a diversity of options fit for any diet (and is, according to Yelp, a “vegetarian hot spot.”) Notable dishes include the Vegan Fajitas (you read that right) and anything on their brunch menu.
Plus, on November 14, Sunrise is putting on a special Happy Hour from 4:00 – 6:00! $4 Mojitos, Margaritas, and Piña Coladas and $3 Sangria – deals worth leaving work a bit early for, in my humble opinion.
