College Connect is currently embarking on a project to build a library of banned books in solidarity with students that are fighting for their right to read books that speak to their experiences and cultures.
After seeing the documentary Precious Knowledge, the College Connect team felt it was crucial to expose our students to more of this literature and educate our youth about the struggles of other youth just one state over from them.
We are asking for community support to donate books from the Banned Books List under the Latino Literature sections. Any duplicate books we receive will be donated to organizations that are getting these books to youth in Arizona.
