San Francisco, CA (June 20, 2024) – Mission Graduates, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering San Francisco’s youth through education, is proud to host its annual Mi Pasaje event on Thursday, June 20th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Reality SF (1325 Valencia St).
Mi Pasaje, which translates to “My Journey” in Spanish, is a night dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of graduating College Access & Success students. This inspiring event goes beyond simply acknowledging their academic success; it’s a powerful testament to the transformative power of education and the unwavering dedication of these students, many from low-income immigrant families, who have faced and overcome significant obstacles on their educational journeys.
The evening promises a celebration filled with:
- Eddie Kaufman, CEO of Mission Graduates, will give the students a warm welcome and acknowledge their incredible journeys and the unwavering support of their families.
- A keynote address by José Cisneros, San Francisco’s elected Treasurer and a champion of financial literacy. Treasurer Cisneros will share valuable insights and guide the graduating class as they embark on their post-graduation paths.
- Personal stories shared by graduating students and a dedicated parent. These powerful testimonies will showcase the challenges overcome, the resilience demonstrated, and the unwavering support provided by Mission Graduates’ programs.
- A celebratory atmosphere with delicious food and opportunities for the Mission Graduates community to connect with graduating students, their families, and supporters.
