Brian Kemp was born in San Francisco, and grew up watching how people were able to change their lives with the opportunities this region provides – if they had the proper education and skills. Today, these opportunities require more education than in the past, but with guidance and mentoring, students can discover what is possible and realize their full potential, and Mission Graduates helps make this happen. As part of his background, Brian has worked in public radio as a reporter for KPFA-FM, led projects with Taproot, and worked on technology communications and public relations throughout his career, including at Edelman PR, Flex and Roku. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
