Wilson was born in Guatemala and immigrated to San Francisco at the age of 11, and began his education in the US at Everett Middle School, where he now plays a leadership role. Wilson received his B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University.  With a strong history in youth development, Wilson has worked in the Mission District as a soccer coach, after school classroom coordinator, and as a Bilingual Specialist.  He joined Mission Graduates four years ago, working with newcomer students before becoming Assistant Director and now Director of the Mission Community Beacon at Everett Middle School.
